The unit was very roomy and larger than it appeared in the photos. The unit was well-decorated, clean and comfortable, including our bed. Our teenage granddaughter had no complaints about the sofa bed. The location was great - right in the heart of the historic section of Colmar and close to numerous restaurants. Some reviews had complained about street noise, but we didn't find that to be a problem at all. The apartment was two flights up, but that wasn't a problem for us, though it may be for others. It helped that the stairs were plenty wide and not steep. The price was extremely reasonable for the size, condition and comfort of the unit.

The property is in a great location! So close to everything we would have wanted to see in Colmar..Little Venice, shops, the Easter market, the covered market, churches, Bartholdi museum. And the flat was surprisingly large so cute!
I always prefer renting from the owner of a property and Catherine proves my point. It was a pleasant walk from the train station even with with our two suitcases. Catherine met us upon our arrival to show us to the apartment. She even carried one of our suitcases up the stairs. Because she lives in the building, she was always available to answer questions via WhatsApp. The information binder in the apartment had all the information we needed including some fantastic restaurant recommendations.
This apartment is spectacular! Most holiday rentals are utilitarian; this apartment has everything I could want, plus it is thoughtfully and beautifully furnished. It is located in the heart of Colmar. Everything is within walking distance. The kitchen is equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals, and I appreciated the full-size kitchen appliances. I recommend this apartment 100%
Large apartment was wonderful. Location excellent. Owner met us even though we arrived early and helped us get luggage upstairs. Also paid parking available through owner very close by and at very reasonable rate. Definitely try Le Zinc downstairs it is a fabulous restaurant! Everything was perfect.
